another boring essay

Here is another essay that I wrote. I got a 4 on this one too. (P.S. all the "facts" are made up.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! That’s your alarm clock telling you to wake up. It is 7:00 and you wake up and get out of bed. As you are getting dressed you realize that you forgot to do a worksheet for science! You hurry and get the rest of the way dressed in a desperate attempt to have enough time to finish it before school. You eat breakfast and recognize that the bus is out side waiting for you. You get on the bus just in time and finish the worksheet on the way to school. This would have been disastrous if you drove your self to school. Our legislature is considering a bill that requires a person to earn their high school diploma before they can receive their driver’s license. If this bill passes, students will be able to study more, have a better chance of not getting killed, and receive more education. Let me explain.
There would be less automobile accidents if the bill is passed. 68% of all the accidents that happen in our state involve a high school student. Thousands of people would not have to go through the trauma that is part of a car accident. But this is not the only reason why fewer accidents would happen. Students have lots of stress by going through high school. 97% of all the accidents of high school students involve a student that was thinking about school things. If this bill is passed students would have a better chance of living. It is logical that if someone lives through high school that they will want to earn an education.
With the bill in place students will receive a better education. There will be way more pressure to finish high school instead of dropping out. In the year of 2008, 50,000 students dropped out of high school. 99.9% of them would have stay in school so they could get their license with the bill. Think of how many less high school drop outs there would be with the bill. But students will receive a better education in other ways also. High school students will be more interested and into school with out the ever tempting thoughts of driving. Think of how education would be better with out kids thinking about there cars. But not only will they get a better education, they will work at it too.
High school students will study better with the bill in place. Students’ minds will be more focused in school instead of driving. If they are thinking of school more, and how the need to prepare for class, Students will study more. All high school kids with out drivers’ licenses are in the top 1 percent of all students. They study better thus making them better students. Think of all the possibilities if all the kids in our state tested in the top 1 percent world wide. People would think that this bill is gold.
In conclusion, I think that our legislature should put the bill into action. First of all, there would be fewer accidents. High school students would also receive a better education. Another reason is that students would study better. If this essay doesn’t convince you that the bill should be passed, you need help. So go out and pass this bill today!
